The Role
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and data driven analysis to support operational and strategic decisions for the company. FP&A Manager will serve as a trusted partner and advisor to business leaders in making sound financial decisions. This is a high impact individual contributor role that reports to the CFO and will be part of the finance leadership team.
*Preference will be given to candidates who are located in the Phoenix metropolitan area, but for the right candidate, we will consider remote work.
Responsibilities
- Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting:
- Maintain and enhance RevolutionParts’s three-statement financial model
- Develop and maintain a rolling forecast of relevant KPIs and financials
- Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning process
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop and enhance management reporting, including certain financial reports, presentations, and dashboards
- Provide variance analysis on budget/forecast vs. actuals and forward-looking insights and recommendations to ensure we meet business goals
- Support board and investor reporting and presentations
- Decision Support:
- Prepare and present thoughtful financial analysis, insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions through the use of financial modeling, scenario and sensitivity analyses, etc.
- Assist in evaluation of M&A and other strategic activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- 5+ years of investment banking, private equity, consulting, and/or FP&A experience
- Advanced financial modeling skills and familiarity with various financial analysis tools and frameworks (e.g., 3 statement models, buy vs. build analysis, DCF/NPV/IRR, sensitivity and scenario analysis)
- Ability to retrieve, organize, analyze data from multiple sources and produce insightful analysis and recommendations
- Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and project management skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- An understanding of SaaS and/or eCommerce companies
- MBA, CFA, and/or FP&A certifications are a plus
