🐦 Job Description

As ElevateU grows faster every month, we're searching for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to architect code, build features, and mentor the junior engineers on our team. We’ll call on this person to solve tough technical challenges across our application, websites, and server codebases, and to lead the development of features that improve the ElevateU experience for instructors and students.

🤝 Main responsibilities

  • Full-Stack Feature Development

    We have incredible features planned for our product over the coming year. You will build UIs in Angular, as well as design and develop integrations from our back-end.

  • Create Stunning Experiences

    You'll work closely with our Founder/CEO and our Head of Product to help build a seamless user experiences that involve thoughtful UX, animations, and design.

  • Lead Planning and Implementation

    You will be called on to lead the engineering team in the planning and implementation of complex features and systems.

  • Deploy Production-Ready Code

    We will look to you to not only deploy production-ready code, but also improve the deployment process itself so we can continue to refine our systems.

  • Mentorship

    Team growth and leveling-up others are part of ElevateU’s DNA. We want someone who will generously lend your experience, advice, training, and time to mentor your teammates through code reviews, best practices, and pair programming.


🥇 Qualifications

  • At least a few years’ experience in Full Stack software development, with projects and work history that demonstrate mastery and joy for your craft.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills (both orally and in writing), both within the engineering team and outside of it, to move projects forward asynchronously.
  • Empathy for others, including your team members and our customers. You think deeply about how you can improve everyone’s experience with ElevateU.
  • An owner’s mindset towards your work, which enables you to create systems that better our entire organization.
