We are seeking a motivated Associate Product Manager to join our Product Management team at Fullbay. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in product strategy and customer insights while building a career path in Product Management. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Product Management team by analyzing product data, managing customer feedback through tools like Pendo, and coordinating research and customer advisory events. This position is ideal for someone with a degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business, who is proficient in Excel’s analytics capabilities and has a keen interest in leveraging data to inform product decisions. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
      • Run and analyze reports to track product trends and performance.
      • Provide actionable insights to inform product decisions and priorities.
      • Prepare and present data-driven reports to support the Product Management team.
      • Recommends product features and enhancements based on analysis to the executive team.
  • Voice of Customer Management (Pendo)
      • Leverage Pendo to analyze, organize, and tag customer feedback and feature requests.
      • Identify trends and themes in customer input to inform product roadmaps.
      • Collaborate with Product Managers to align feedback insights with product strategy.
  • Research Coordination
      • Determines Customer Survey Scope: Identifies target customer groups and determines the scope and scale of customer surveys to gather input for key product enhancements and features, balancing market needs with organizational priorities.
      • Determines the appropriate research methodologies in coordinating focus groups, customer advisory boards, and other research events given the strategic question needing to be answered for the product team.
      • Manages annual customer research budget.
      • Conduct secondary research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
      • Support primary research initiatives, such as customer interviews and surveys.
  • Customer Engagement
      • Owns, manages, and exercises discretion on the running of the Fullbay Customer Advisory Council (100+ of our most strategic customers) including budget, event planning, participant management, and agendas.
      • Conduct customer visits to gather qualitative feedback and insights.
      • Listen actively and document findings to share with Product and Engineering teams.
      • Assist with organizing and facilitating customer-focused events and discussions.
  • Collaboration & Communication
      • Work closely with Product Managers to support key initiatives and projects.
      • Summarize and present findings in a clear, concise manner for internal stakeholders.
      • Build cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment on research and product priorities.
  • Professional Development
      • Learn and grow within the role to build a foundation for a career in Product Management.
      • Gain experience in data analysis, customer engagement, and product research methodologies.
      • Adheres to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in a software development environment is a plus.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
  • Customer Insights Tools: Experience or willingness to learn Voice of Customer tools, such as Pendo.
  • Research Abilities: Capability to conduct both primary (focus groups, customer interviews) and secondary (market trends, competitive analysis) research.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to summarize findings clearly for different audiences. This role is customer facing. Professional appearance and communication is a must.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and to keep track of important project details related to customer advisory boards, focus groups, and research events.
  • Customer Engagement: Ability to build rapport during customer visits and gather qualitative feedback, take detailed notes and synthesize information into a summary report.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com) and basic statistical concepts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of or interest in the commercial repair business or fleet management industry is a plus.
  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and grow into a Product Management career path. You will work with a team of experienced professionals and report to the VP of Product. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop your product management skills.
  • Willingness to travel: This job will require travel to customer locations, industry events, and to our Phoenix headquarters from time to time. This role could require up to 25% of your time traveling.
