About the SDR Manager Role

Medplace is one of the top early-stage tech startups in Phoenix, AZ. We have an exciting business, happy customers, and we’re looking for your help to continue to grow! Are you a positive and hardworking leader who thrives on coaching and driving results? As an SDR Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing our SDR team to generate a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. You will oversee SDRs, refine outbound strategies, and ensure best practices in lead generation, sales development, and prospect engagement.

This role requires a hands-on approach. You will start by proving your ability to perform the SDR role effectively, demonstrating strong prospecting, outbound sales, and lead qualification skills. Once established, you will transition into managing the SDR team, building cadences, pulling prospect lists, reviewing calls, and optimizing the overall SDR strategy.

While this role will start as an in-person position, there is potential for it to transition into a hybrid role based on performance and business needs.

We love our jobs and want you to love yours, too. No politics. Every day is new. What you do has a direct and immediate impact.

About Medplace

Medplace was founded on the idea that cutting-edge technology and human-centered design can change medicine. Called the “Uber for medical experts,” Medplace combines advanced workflow automation and a national network of top practicing doctors and nurses to create a disruptively efficient method for companies to find and engage medical practitioners. Medplace is a two-sided marketplace, and we’re proud of our very high level of user satisfaction on both sides. Our customers include hospitals, FQHCs, insurance carriers, law firms, and third-party administrators.

About Your Team

Our sales team is packed with ambitious people who always look for ways to combine hard work with tech tools so we can grow faster and smarter. We each have our own specific goals but work together closely. Because we are early, we don’t have everything figured out. This means you have the chance to be creative, entrepreneurial, and free to try non-standard strategies.
