We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our growing team in a challenging but fun startup environment.

Your role will help to drive the understanding of the needs of the users and drive Product Design in a dynamic start-up environment where your contributions matter. You should be motivated by growth opportunities with your responsibilities expanding in scope as the company grows. The ideal designer for our team is someone who thinks creatively about what users need and can turn those needs into elegant systems, components, and guidelines. You'll serve a vital role at the company, from creating the vision for new features to the craft and finish of every detail in the
product.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building new ways for users to initiate workflows.
• Working together with engineers at every stage of a new release, from concept to code.
• Design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and user experience.
• Maintain an up-to-date repository of design guidelines and systems.
• Help the marketing team with the campaigns and print media designs.

What You Should Have

• 4+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI related field
• Experience designing on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile web, Desktop, etc)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient with design tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Highly proficient with interactive prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, Origami, Invision Studio, etc.)
• Passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences for native mobile and web applications.
• Experience conducting user research and analyzing feedback to deliver informed validated design solutions.
• Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment with full autonomy.
• Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup-style environment
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.

Great to Have

• Academic experience in the arts (BA, BFA, MFA).
• Front-end development and Product management Experience
• Education experience working in a high school or university: you bring the classroom perspective
• Experience with remote teams. We live, talk, and type all over the world.
• An in-depth understanding of the educational technology landscape.
• Able to suggest appropriate solutions for any ad-hoc requirements
