We are looking for our next Senior Engineering Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the success of our Engineering team from leadership, management, internal communication, and delivery. Getting the product out the door, while ensuring the product is of the highest quality. Your managerial qualities and expertise enable you to provide the leadership needed to drive our teams.
Being part of the Leadership Team, you play a pivotal role in working closely with the Product Management team, setting the tone and cadence for delivery, working cross-functionally with the leadership team (Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, Client Experience) to further scale the Right-Hand's platform and build new products.

• Direct, design, plan, and document software architecture, software interfaces, software development, and software workflow.
• Plan and design system security, and ensuring pre-release system security checks.
• Coordinate teams in troubleshooting issues on software systems and setup, inclusive of servers/storage/network.
• Provide API/SDK usage guidance, training, and technical documentation to internal and external parties.
• Provide technical insights into the design and implementation of solutions.
• Responsible for the software development life cycle and ensuring development meet required standards.
• Estimation and timely delivery of software systems.
• Develop maintainable and reusable systems

The Must Haves:

• 8+ years experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of success in leadership positions.
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and cloud architecture is a must.
• Familiarity with the entire web stack (frontend, backend, and database), and web performance optimization techniques
• Experience using Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Knowledge of Web security and performance
• Knowledge and experience with Application Integration patterns
• Detail-oriented and thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about learning new techniques and to mentor and lead.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to recruit top technical talent.
• An eager to learn mindset, positive attitude, and an unrivalled level of effort

Nice to have:

• Experience with data modelling
• Familiarity with build and deployment concepts
• Experience with web application security and performance tuning
• Experience in the Cybersecurity industry
